A multi-billion dollar investment fund headquartered in London is seeking an analyst to support investor relations in the Dubai office.

The focus of the role will be closely assisting in managing institutional and high profile investor’s relationships in UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait

Duties include:

  • Before clients meetings: Preparing marketing support by producing relevant brochures by liaising with the regional teams, ensuring disclaimers are up to date and relevant per country
  • After clients meetings
    • Conducting follow up with clients by liaising with the relevant teams internally, and ensuring we properly address and respond to client requests in a timely manner
    • Writing detailed meeting notes for management internally
    •  Taking ownership of client queries using your industry knowledge and experience to overcome challenges and solve problems
  • Maintaining & nurturing investors and potential investors relationships by
    • Sending regular news and industry reports
    • Organizing events and trainings for this clients in the region or in London Office
    • Being aware of the performance of the funds and suggesting portfolio managers to come to the Middle East
      • Legal aspects: Meeting on a regular basis with our legal team/Compliance to make sure we have the right licenses to market in KSA, Kuwait etc
      • Internal investors data base: Developing and managing client database, ensuring it is up to date at all times
      • Market Intelligence: Pro actively conducting client research in the region: who are the potential clients and what they have done recently, what is happening on the markets (politics and oil are a regular topics in every client meetings)
      • Investor Intelligence: Building client profiles with key data and meetings notes, understanding the key persons to meet in these organizations, who has changed (turnover is high) and be able to set up meetingsSkills and experience required:
      • Have a relevant degree qualification with up to 2 years experience working within the investment banking industry
      • Possess excellent Microsoft skills including advanced working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel (along with Photoshop)
      • Be able to demonstrate a proactive approach with the ability to fully understand the nature of the business, products and clients
      • Have the ability to work well under pressure, manage workload, conflicting priorities and deadlines effectively
      • Be extremely organised, excellent attention to detail and follow-through and delivery
      • Be able to develop strong working relationships and an ability to influence key stakeholders
      • Be a dynamic character and have the drive to think outside the box and support your ideaswith confidence
      • Have excellent communication skills – written and verbal
